Chicken coop light
These have a nice long cord between the charger and bulb, where I can put the cord through a screened chicken coop window and have the light hanging about 5 feet away. The light switch, on the top of the bulb, sits up and is easy to find in the dark. Nice and bright. Perfect for my needs.

Lights well
Decent light, we'll see how long the battery lasts. Takes a charge easily and illuminates well. My fault in wanting a light/day/night sensor. Does Not have that, so runs all the time....Would be a great camping lamp

UPDATED - FIrst use went very well
Updated Review: I used a wall charger to charge both lights because the days are cloudy.I turned them on at 8pm Tuesday. The next morning (8am Wednesday) after 12 hours of use, they were both still on but had lost about half of their brightness. The light at 11am Thursday was still enough to give some light to the surrounding area, or if used at night after so many hours of being on, were good enough to produce enough light at night to mark an area. So it gave some light for over 36 hours. The first hours they produced a bright light. After that they were much dimmer but produced enough light to see your way around a totally dark room or select something out of a closet/wardrobe. After 36 hours I gave up waiting for them to go out so turned them off and recharged both.Original Review: Received two of them yesterday. Lacking sunlight this time of year, I charged both with a wall charger.I turned one on at 10:30 pm when I went to bed and it was still on when I got up at 7 am. I kept it in my bedroom and it kept the bedroom surprisingly bright.I think it is plenty bright. I was surprised at how bright it is.If they last and do not fail, I will probably purchase two more.

Not for a daily use
I do like the product, using it daily upon dusk for my chickens. I do charge them with the usb since there isn’t enough daylight to charge it completely. However, I had ordered one in September and in October. Because at first thought that they needed more time for charging since they went dim fairly quick. But no, unfortunately they don’t seem to hold charge after a month of using them. Which is disappointing!Oh and funny story! You can’t truly rate brightness, value for money etc., because it want let you get past the window of evaluation unless you give it 5 stars

I'm good with it. Will buy again EDIT: Not any more. not again.
I'm pretty happy with this purchase. It was brighter yet at the same time dimmer than I expected. I thought it would be dim, but had hoped it would be like a fairly standard lightbulb, which it sort of is. It's like a 20w bulb. I used the bulb after one day of charging and it light up the room nice enough we could do whatever we needed to. When I sat near it, it was bright enough to read by. If I had a few of them, it'd probably feel pretty similar to regular lightbulbs.I got the solar lightbulb because of the power failures we get on occasion and the storms that knock out the power. Though, it's easy enough to use for every day. It has a very flimsy solar panel, but it still does the job. It sits in the window with a cord attached. You attach the bulb by a micro usb I believe so you can unattach it from the cord and hang it up or move it at will. I used it for several hours and it didn't get hot to the touch. I left it hanging and on all night and it was still on in the morning though much dimmer.Edit: So, I gave this to my son to use as his night light. As in use to go around get a drink or go to the bathroom at night so he doesn't have to turn on all the lights. Well, he's used it most nights since we got it a little over a month ago and it doesn't really hold a charge any more. It goes dim after just an hour or so of use. It used to shine bright enough to read by, though just barely. Now its no better than a nightlight you plug in the wall. Barely enough to se by. I don't think I'll buy this brand again.

Still working today
We bought this almost 2 years ago to light the shed the horses food was in. Not our horses, just ones we were taking care of for my husband's aunt. But there was no light, it was at least 50 get from the nearest outlet and I was not looking forward to running anything out that long. After reading reviews I picked this one. We set it up really quick with the solar panel outside on the side facing the sun and the bulb inside. The cord was long enough to wrap around the side, into the door and to the middle of the roof. Best part is it has a regular on off switch. Turn it on when we need it and off when we're done. I've had motion sensor lights burn out quick. Also the battery is on the bulb itself, meaning that if I need to feed the horses at night I can take the light with me.The horses moved back with their mom and we're getting ready to move the light into our new shed closer to the house. So glad that it's still working!
