A well-crafted, beautiful watch. Seiko quality shines through.
I bought my first Seiko Automatic Dive watch in 1981 and still have it, but since I can't replace the movement, I decided to get another Seiko. This will probably be the last watch I buy in my life, and all I wanted was another Seiko. It's a beautiful watch and I have already been getting compliments on it.The only difference I can see between my old Seiko and this one is the new one only stays running for a little more than 24 hours if you take it off, where the old Seiko would run for about 3 days. Not a big deal, but a difference.LOVE my new Seiko. As one customer told me, "An excellent watch without being pretensious."

Love the deep blue face. Absolutely stunning.
The blue color scheme is absolutely beautiful. Like my other Seiko watch, I get compliments all the time, and people assume it’s much pricier than it actually is. What an incredible value. I highly recommend this watch if you want a nice looking watch that won’t break your bank. Always trust Seiko!

Great automatic watch
Great automatic watch especially for the price. It fits my smaller size wrist after having the band adjusted I took it to a local jeweler and they did this for $10. I particularly like the date and day feature and the way the Beazell rotates. Reasonably accurate in this price point.

A beautiful and accurate watch
I like it. It is very accurate, looks good, and the band is easy to adjust if you have the correct tool. It's best to use the tool that allows you to slowly screw in a pin to push out the pin used in the links.

A nice Automatic, good value for the money
This is the first automatic watch I've ever bought myself. I think I had one when I was a kid, but I remember never wearing it, as digital watches were huge back then. After dozens of G-shocks and other digital watches, I got a Casio Duro dive watch a few years ago and absolutely loved it. I've been looking for an orange-dialed dive watch ever since, and as soon as I saw this Seiko, I pulled the trigger. The watch looks great - lots of style points and easy to read. I ended up changing the stock band to a black silicone one, and the watch looks less luxury and more sporty. The watch feels nice on the wrist - not too big, not too small. It's a dive watch, so no problem in the water.Complaints? It's a mechanical watch - you have to wear it or wind it every couple days or it stops. As someone who owns multiple watches and wears different ones day-to-day, this is difficult for me. I'll reach for the Seiko after not having worn it for a few days, and have to wind it and adjust the time and date - kind of a pain to do every time I want to wear it.The other bad thing? Accuracy, A mechanical watch typically varies as many seconds in a day as a quartz watch varies in a month. Even if I keep the watch wound and running every day, after a week it's off by a couple minutes. I use my watches to tell the time, not just for jewelry - so having an accurate timepiece is important to me.I still like this watch a lot, and I would recommend it to anyone interested in an entry-level Seiko. That being said, I don't think I'll be buying another mechanical watch.

Sieko: The Blingmaster Edition
Sieko does it once again with a great time piece. A very high end looking watch for a fraction of the price. It’s not nicknamed blingmaster for nothing. My father had a Sieko 5 all gold version from 1980 and I wanted to buy the updated version. The 1980’s version was very classic Sieko. And Yes, this version is gaudy and really in your face with the design. But that’s the point. In regards to time keeping- it’s excellent, better than my 2017 Sieko 5 Sport and as good as my Tissot 1875.The glow in the dark functions for at least 5-6 hours which is great at night as well.Overall totally worth it if you’re looking for something eye catching and quality for a fair price.

Solid good looking watch
As always, Seiko produces a nice, quality product. The burnt orange makes the watch look subtly different without screaming.

Crown could be more crisp. Hands are peach not white, but I don't care.
I recently purchased the SRPD59 watch, and I’m really impressed with its design and functionality! The striking orange sunray dial is not only eye-catching but also easy to read thanks to the LumiBrite hands and markers. The 4R36 caliber movement ensures accurate timekeeping, and I appreciate the self-winding feature—definitely a bonus for anyone who wants a reliable timepiece without constantly fiddling with batteries. The rotating bezel adds a practical element for timing, and the stainless steel construction gives it a durable yet classic look that suits various occasions. Plus, the 100M water resistance means I can wear it confidently, whether I’m out for a swim or caught in the rain. However, I did encounter a bit of a challenge when it comes to setting the time. The lugs around the crown make it somewhat difficult to grip, which can be frustrating. A crown with sharper edges would significantly improve the usability and make adjusting the time much easier.Overall, the SRPD59 is a fantastic watch with excellent features and style. Just a small tweak to the crown design could elevate it even further!
