EV Charger Holder,Electric Vehicle Charger Nozzle Holster Dock,Electric Car Cable Organizer,Portable Wall Charger Equipment,for J1772 Holder Connector

I love this holder for my car charger. It keeps the cord off the floor and organized, plus it protects the plug (or whatever you call it) from being stepped on or tripped over or, worse yet, driven over. It was easy to install, wasn't very expensive, and has kept my cord ready for action.

This whole thing is great, except the latch to hold it in place on my charger, wouldn’t fit it so my charger kept falling out. I ended up taking a small chisel and breaking a piece of the plastic off so that it would fit right. Once I did that it’s been perfect.

Depending on the length and weight of the cord, I don't know if this works for everyone, but I specifically bought this holster to dock the charger on an angle so I can easily get between the wall and the car car. I have a regular sized garage, but with a 90 degree mount, the charger wand stuck out too far.

There aren’t many options out there for Charging Plug receptacles that minimize the space needed for the plug handle, so I was excited when I found this one that tilts down.Ideally, one that mounts sideways and eliminates the charging handle from sticking out into your garage would be great but I haven’t found any like that.This one would have worked well, but apparently the designer didn’t realize that some charging plugs (mine is a BMW) have an extended outer cover that prevents the plug from being fully inserted into this holder - see attached picture. If they modified this design slightly, it would accommodate more brands of charging plugs.So I wasn’t able to use this, therefore I can’t comment on well it might work, or how it will hold up over time, but I wanted to warn others with a similar plug design that this might not work for them either.

I'm irritated by just how many of these products don't do the job because they make wrong assumptions about plugs. My Kia plug does NOT fit - it keeps falling out because the top part of the plug that contains the latch is wider than the narrow opening on this holder. See attached pictures. As I was getting tired of returning yet another such product, i took a Dremel to it to cut it wider so that my Kia plug fits. Doesn't look as pretty anymore but at least the plug now fits and clicks in.

What more do you need? It attaches pretty easily with three screws and hold your charger cable.One picky thing - the third screw is in an awkward place and at an angle - the screw stripped before it was fully screwed in and now I can't remove it. It sticks out enough that the charger 'nozzle' won't clip into place. It still stays put through friction, but it would be nicer if the screws were more accessible - and of higher quality.

Despite being recommended for xc60 Volvo car, the nozzle does not fit properly in the holster dock. Returning for this reason.
